First TBE case in 2024 and high demand for TBE vaccination

Friday, 22 June 2024, the Statens Serum Institut (SSI) issued a press release announcing that the first case of the TBE virus has been recorded in Denmark this year. The disease has affected a person living in North Zealand. In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of infections and the geographic spread of the disease, leading to increased awareness and demand for TBE vaccination in Denmark.
